Essential Oils -- Easy Method For Good Health

Essential Oils are the concentrated extracts from a plant of flower. The oil can come from the leaves, stem, peel, fruit or blossom. You can get them in healthfood stores in small bottles.
Some you can use directly on the skin, like lavender for a headache and others need to be mixed with olive or other cold-pressed oil since they would burn your skin on contact.

They are especially useful in a bath since they get absorbed quickly in your skin and the steam from the bath enhances the oil--- you breathe it in as your skin picks absorbs up. Lavender is the most relaxing, but you can use rosemary to energize you.

To explain the versatility of these oils, take the example of lemongrass. You can use it as a digestive aid. And it can be used as a household cleaner or insect repellent! Sounds like a bad TV commercial. But it's true. I use eucalyptus in the sinus formula I make up. I will also place it on a cotton ball and have the kids sniff it relive a stuffy nose. And I throw some drops in the laundry since it's an anti-septic so it cleans better. I also add a drop to a solution I use to clean tiles as well. There are no side effects and it's very cost effective at around $7 or less per bottle and you only use a few drops at a time.
