Day 3 In 5 Steps to Natural Living




1) Nutrition: Add spinach as a snack one day this week. Buy organic spinach and eat it plain as you would celery. It's highly recommend as a way to lower cholesterol.

2) Exercise: Try Pilates. It's an easy type of exercise that is similar to yoga but not as challenging physically. I find I can do it later in the evening as most of the work is done on the floor. It's one that is really easy to do in your own home.

3) Stress Reduction: Find 10 minutes one day this week and just sit quietly in a room and listen to your own breathing. No thoughts in your mind but listen to the flow of air in and out of your body.

4) Home Remedies: Here's a great one for congestion. Fill a large bowl with warm water, add 1 heaping tablespoon of mustard powder. ( Can get at grocery store for less than $1.) Mix it up and stick your feet in for about 15 minutes or until your feet feel itchy. It really helps draw the congestion out of your head and chest.

5) Outlook on Life: Each day this week do something, large or small, that brings you joy. Whether you treat yourself to your favorite food, activity, music whatever. Just include a little joy each day.
