Day 4 In 5 Steps to Natural Living


1) Nutrition: Water. You must drink 8 glasses per day. Start with 4 per day and then increase. Keep water with you at all times and you'll find you actually get thirsty for it once you start drinking. Add lemon or lime. Hot water with lemon is a good way to cleanse your system. It helps kick-start weight loss as well.

2) Exercise: Try using small weight when you do arm exercises. Use 1, 3 or 5 lb. dumbbells. If you aren't ready for that use cans of soup. Just to provide a little resistance. Do this every other day for a few minutes, you'll see the difference.

3) Stress Reduction: I leaned this over the weekend when I took a Reiki class ( I'll explain about that in a future blog). Take off your shoes and head to the nearest tree. Stand by it with your feet planted firmly on the earth and draw the energy from the earth. You'll feel grounded!!

4) Home Remedies: For headaches use essential oils. My family puts a one drop on each temple and the forehead of a formula that we get specifically for headaches. Health food stores will sell them.

5) Outlook on Life: Friendship. Call a friend today and soak in all of their positive feelings. Remember that they love you for you are, who you were and who you will become. They don't care what you have or what roles you play. They appreciate and love you. Remember that and thank them for their faith in you.
