Instead of using harmful chemicals found in many cleaning products here some home remedies for cleaning solutions.
For your bathrooms and kitchen tiles use baking soda and water. I use this on my tub as well. Sprinkle baking soda right on the surface and scrub with moist sponge. For mildew or grease you can spray with lemon juice or vinegar.
If you need a disinfectant you can mix 2 cups of water with 3 tablespoons of liquid soap and add 20 -30 drops of tea tree oil. Tea tree might smell strong to you if you aren't used to it.
For a clogged sink you can pour 1/2 cup of baking soda followed by 2 cups of water or 1/2 cup of vinegar. It will bubble up -- don't worry it will go back down the drain once it's done its job.
For furniture polish mix 1 teaspoon of olive oil and 1/2 cup of lemon juice. Put mixture in a spray bottle, spray and wipe with a dry cloth. Another way to create furniture polish is by mixing 1 tablespoon of lemon oil with 4 cups of mineral oil. (source eHow.com)
