Honey Is A New Antibiotic

Researchers at Ottawa University in Canada have discovered that honey ordinary honey kills bacteria that cause sinus infections, and does it better in most cases than antibiotics.

And if that wasn't enough it was tested in the laboratory on the "superbug" methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus or MRSA, which is highly resistant to antibiotics. Turns out Mother Nature's own pharmacy works on our superbug.

The researchers have so far tested manuka honey from New Zealand, and sidr honey from Yemen.

Previous studies have shown honey's healing properties on infected wounds.
