Day 7 in 5 Steps to Natural Living

)Nutrition: Protein in the morning is a great way to start the day. My holistic physician recommends 2 eggs, hormone-free. I find I have much more energy throughout the day and feel very full all morning.

)Yoga: If I had a dime for everytime someone told me to do yoga.. I can't even list all of health benefits since there are too many. This exercise is great for anyone at any age and at any stage of physical fitness. Even if you only do it once a week the benefits are just too great to ignore.

)Stress Reduction: Music is a great way to de-stress the body. If its relaxing music that can get you into a meditative state that's great. But it's even good to get out other emotions as well. When I find myself angry, loud music that you can just yell out the words seems to get rid of the anger. The same for sad music that lets you pour out the tears from your soul. Any emotion that isn't release is just stored energy in your system and eventually it can stress the body.

)Home Remedies: Here is an easy drink that cleans out your system. Add 2 tablespoons of freshly squeezed lemon juice ( organic) to a glass of water ( filtered). Then add 1 tablespoon of maple syrup( again organic) and a dash of cayene pepper. You can add a drop of lime juice to improve the taste. Drink quickly.

)Outlook on Life: As trite as it sounds, watching the sun set or rise, keep things in perspective. Aside from appreciating the beauty of nature, I think it reminds us how connected we all our to each other.
