Essential Oils To Fight Sinus Infections
When you have sinus problems the essential oil that is most effective is eucalyptus. You can place a few drops on a cotton ball and inhale. You can add a few drops to a bowl of boiling water and place a towel over your head to create a tent and inhale the fumes. You can add a few drops to a humidifier and let it run overnight. My son loves that particular home remedy as his room is nice and warm and all night he can feel the effect of the eucaylytus.
Another oil, palmarosa, is an anti-infection oil used to treat sinus infections. You can rub a few drops on your neck check, down your spine and on the tops of your feet. Some sources recommend doing this five times a day to prevent the infection from taking hold.
And, as always, I recommend garlic.... in your chicken soup, in any dish you cook and even capsules. Remember that when using garlic in preparing your meal you need to let the garlic sit out about 10 minutes prior to adding it to your soup, pasta, meat or whatever dish you are cooking, to give the medicinal process time to take hold.
