Everyone's Pushing Vegetables

I was reading the Wall Street Journal, as I do everyday, to find out what the captains of commerce are up to and came across a headline I never thought I'd see in this paper.
"More Reasons To Eat Your Veggies " ( July 25,2006). So this was the secret to business success?

If the Wall Street Journal is pushing healthy eating then I guess my view have gone mainstream. The article talks about the new effort by the U.S. government ( HHS and Dept. of Agriculture) to encourage Americans to eat better and have amended their slogan from "5 A Day" to "Fruits and Veggies -- More Matters."

I have to laugh first that Americans always want more of everything and now we have to have more vegetables. It's our basic philosophy in life, ( as my Canadian friend is always pointing out to me.) However in this case I'll join the veggie pushers.

Every day there is another study revealing the health benefits of the nutrients in food.
